Final piece - part 1

Today we started out final piece. We have decided we will be using the library as our location for our final piece.

We went to 3D and got some wire and went to textiles to get some fabric.

We will g et some black fabric and use the wire to make silhouettes of eyes to make our final piece.

Brainstorm

Week two.

This week we got inspired by the theme of eyes so we decided we would make another surreal box but this time covering the inside of the box in eyes.

We used fabric to cover the background of the box and then used another piece of fabric to
hang from the roof and we covered it in the eyes that we drew. we also put some of the eyes on the background.

Week one

This is what we did for the first week...

We got put into our group of eight and started sharing idea's on what we wanted to do.
For our first task we decided to make a box with 3D props inside.

We got a mannequins hand and covered it in paper and made small scale 3D seals.
We also covered the whole inside of the box in news paper and covers the floor of the
box in sand giving it a surreal beach feel to it.

Introduction...

We have been given six weeks to complete "The Room" assignment. 

During this time we will be put into small groups of 4-7 and will 

be working with fine art students.We will be experimenting 

with ideas and different concepts. Our final idea has to be based 

around the theme of "The Room" the blank space of the room can 

be filled with what ever we choose.

We have to do research on artists that will inspire our final piece 

and experiment with ideas . We will have to work well  in our 

groups if we want our ideas to come across.
